EunJun Kim is a composer working at the intersection of music, media, and technology, with a primary focus on how sound occupies and moves through space. His practice spans multichannel electroacoustic composition, sound installation, audiovisual work, and performance music within VR and XR environments — moving between speaker-array diffusion in physical rooms and virtual acoustic rendering over headphones and head-mounted displays.
His work incorporates sensor data, human movement, and artificial intelligence into real-time systems that generate or transform sound and image. Recent pieces have treated reverberation itself as structural material (Lucid), used ambisonic panning as a compositional layer (interrupt), and distributed a quartet across an eight-speaker array (Sequential). Earlier works drew their generative logic from L-systems (Axiom), body-joint tracking (DATENPROTOKOLL), and environmental data (island air).
His creative inquiries revolve around questions such as:
· How does the perception of moving sound differ between virtual rendering and physical space?
· How can technology expand the structural possibilities of musical composition?
· How can artificial intelligence function as a creative collaborator?

김은준은 소리가 공간을 어떻게 점유하고 이동하는지를 중심에 두고 작업하는 작곡가입니다. 멀티채널 전자음악, 사운드 설치, 오디오비주얼, 그리고 VR·XR 환경의 퍼포먼스 음악을 오가며, 실재하는 공간의 스피커 배열과 헤드폰·HMD 기반의 가상 음향 렌더링 사이를 왕복해 왔습니다.
센서 데이터와 인간의 움직임, 인공지능을 실시간 시스템에 통합해 소리와 이미지를 생성하거나 변형하는 방식에 집중합니다. 최근 작업은 잔향 자체를 구조적 재료로 다루거나(Lucid), 앰비소닉 패닝을 작곡의 한 층위로 사용하거나(interrupt), 사중주를 8채널 스피커 배열에 분산시키는(Sequential) 방식으로 전개되었습니다. 이전 작업들은 L-시스템(Axiom), 신체 관절 추적(DATENPROTOKOLL), 환경 데이터(island air)에서 생성 논리를 끌어왔습니다.
